One of the pitfalls of eating really good food over a long span of time:

Going to a lame chain restaurant because it's convenient, dealing with the country music soundtrack and the overly perky waitresses, spending $60 on a dinner that blows ass, feeling dirty and shameful for the rest of the night because you could have used that $60 to buy GOOD food somewhere else. Or at least bought a lot of liquor with it.

I need your help, folks. I want to make a villainy/evil themed mix CD. So far this is what we've been able to come up with:

I need more suggestions, please help. If I can't get enough responses here, I'll try asking DP.

I also thought about making a hero-themed CD, but I couldn't think of anything that would go on it besides movie soundtracks, cheesy 80s songs, and DragonForce.

Awesome weekend in Seattle. I think the blue dye is seeping into my brain. Tomorrow it's time to apply another coat. The teal is cool and all, but it is a little "bubblegum", as spooktress put it.

I woke up with an intense craving for Swedish Meatballs. Luckily, we still have a packet of Official Ikea-Brand Sauce Product (or Gräddsås, as they call it). Mmmm, meeeeatbaaalllllls.

So I watched this film from Netflix yesterday and I thought I should tell everyone about it. It's a Hungarian animated film called The District! The quality of the visuals was like nothing I'd seen before. It's basically made up of a number of vibrant and realistic (and yet still somehow very 2-D and cartoony) still shots which seem as if they must have been actually filmed prior to animation - similar to rotoscoping, and yet totally not.

All that, plus a pretty groovy hip-hop soundtrack and TIME TRAVEL! Also a song about the joys of being a hooker.

I highly recommend it for anyone who needs to see some new and fresh animation styles.

Yeah, it was that kind of a week.
